About Jake

When we learned that Jake once chased down an armed convicted murderer who had just robbed his employing bank (for an astonishingly small amount of loot), we thought: now that’s dedication to his clients…and bolder.

Then when we learned that the robber was quite a bit past his prime and Jake had a good deal of back up from other dedicated bankers, hoteliers, and the good men and women of the Knoxville Police Dept., we thought: that kind of team work is just what our clients need.

Jake’s Background

Jake Kraemer advises lending institutions on all types of financing and real estate transactions.

Jake’s expertise has developed through his years of service as an bank manager and executive, as well as his private legal practice representing lenders, businesses, and business owners on all types of commercial transactions. His time in private practice with Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP equipped him with the legal tools and experience necessary to protect his lending clients. However, his roles as a bank executive at Clayton Bank and Trust and manager at IBM have equipped him with an invaluable perspective on not only how to run a business, but also how to succeed in the ever competitive commercial lending. Together, these professional experiences allow Jake to assist his lending clients achieve the optimal balance between protecting their legal interests and growing quality relationships with their borrowers.

Jake has a passion for modernizing the practice of law to bring it in line with service and technological advances that clients have come to expect in other areas of service. Though law is a learned profession, Jake believes it is not above improvement in the levels of service and value provided to clients, as well as the quality of work-life balance for attorneys.
