Tara Kraemer advises lending institutions on all types of financing and real estate transactions.
Tara’s well-rounded approach to lender representation has developed through her unique exposure to both litigation and transactional legal practice areas. Early in her legal career, while law school peers were being slotted into either litigation or transactional practices, Tara was fortunate to be mentored by experts in the areas of commercial litigation and business bankruptcy and planning. Having seen all sides of the process and represented debtors as well as creditors, Tara is uniquely equipped to anticipate the pitfalls that can plague lenders when borrowers fall into distress, and is able to protect her lending clients through proper planning, drafting and documentation.
Tara has a passion for providing a work environment for attorneys who want to make a meaningful contribution to their workplace on a part-time basis in order that they may also make meaningful contributions to other important areas of life. Having personally experienced the collision of career and family goals upon the arrival of her first child, Tara knows that there are plenty of brilliant, hard-working attorneys putting their careers on pause for the sake of their young families, aging parents, or other life circumstances. Tara believes there should be a place for those folks to contribute, keep their legal skills relevant, earn fair wages, and maintain the flexibility demanded by placing a high priority on home life. Tara founded bolderlaw to make those ideals a reality for its team members.
